About the Role

OpenLoop’s mission is to power telehealth delivery at scale while protecting clinical quality. The Quality team acts as the central safeguard for clinical excellence, and the company is hiring a Quality Operations Specialist to join a small, efficient group.

This is an entry-level position focused on supporting quality work behind the scenes. You will partner closely with Quality RNs to review clinical charts, monitor provider training, and help maintain high standards as the team grows. The role suits someone who is highly detail-focused, comfortable investigating issues, and able to work in a fast-moving setting where priorities can change quickly.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out structured, high-volume audits of provider charts to confirm documentation accuracy and alignment with protocol.
• Support Quality RNs with deeper investigations to uncover process breakdowns and recurring system issues.
• Track provider quality training records and keep the database current so compliance stays at 100%, including during large hiring periods.
• Share approved quality updates and educational communication with providers in a clear and professional manner.
• Help identify issues across the intake-to-implementation workflow so they can be resolved before affecting clinical work.
• Step in wherever needed to support teammates or department projects as priorities shift.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus at least 2 years of direct experience in a clinical environment, such as Medical Assistant, Scribe, or Clinical Coordinator.
• Ability to use Excel and Google Sheets effectively, along with the capacity to learn EHR systems and tracking tools quickly.
• Basic understanding of clinical workflows, including how a patient visit typically moves from intake through discharge.
• Experience speaking directly with patients in a clinical setting so you understand the human side of the data being reviewed.
