Role Overview
The Clinic Coordinator will facilitate efficient daily operations within the clinic by managing appointments, supporting patients and families, and ensuring effective communication between departments. This position aims to maintain excellent patient care experiences while upholding smooth clinic workflows in alignment with M42’s standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and manage patient appointments, follow-ups, referrals, and admissions to ensure continuity of care.
- Optimize clinic scheduling to maximize appointment utilization and minimize wait times.
- Assist patients and their families by providing visit-related information and ensuring clear, culturally appropriate communication.
- Accurately handle referrals, pre-authorization processes, and associated documentation.
- Work cooperatively with various internal departments and external partners to enhance patient service quality.
- Contribute to clinic operations management including reporting, audits, inventory monitoring, and procurement.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, infection control measures, and regulatory requirements.
- Engage in continuous improvement efforts and promote a supportive team atmosphere.
Candidate Requirements
- Vocational or technical education qualification.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar clinic coordination or administration role.
- Strong organizational abilities and familiarity with medical terminology.
- Effective communication skills with sensitivity to cultural diversity when interacting with patients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Arabic is required.
