Role Overview

As part of The Haven's Cleaning team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional cleaning services to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents. Your focus will be on ensuring that residents’ rooms and shared spaces meet high cleanliness standards.

Key Duties

• Collaborate with team members to uphold cleanliness and presentation standards in resident rooms
• Support peers and foster a cooperative team environment
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures to safeguard yourself, colleagues, and residents
• Comply with all organizational policies and cleaning protocols

Candidate Requirements

• Genuine compassion and commitment to providing quality care to elderly individuals
• Effective communication abilities paired with a positive outlook
• Preferably prior cleaning experience, especially within care settings
• Warmth and empathy to engage with residents and a broad range of people
• Capability to build and sustain respectful and professional relationships with residents and their families
• Reliability and teamwork orientation
• Basic literacy skills to communicate effectively in reading and writing
• Willingness to undergo Police Check and NDIS clearance
