Job Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a dedicated on-site Cleaner/Housekeeper to join the team at HMP Humber. The role involves maintaining cleanliness to a high standard within the prison environment, contributing to a safe and efficient facility.
Working Hours and Salary
The position is full-time, with 37 hours weekly from Monday to Friday. Standard shifts run from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with possible flexibility to start at 7:00 AM when operationally required. Compensation is set at £13.45 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver cleaning services meeting contractual standards.
- Manage inventory by monitoring stock and ordering necessary supplies.
- Operate cleaning machinery safely following training and guidelines.
- Ensure consistent high-quality service to building users to promote customer satisfaction.
- Support local and corporate zero carbon initiatives, advancing sustainability goals when appropriate.
- Adhere to health and safety standards throughout the contract.
