Job Overview

This part-time cleaning position involves working 12.5 hours per week, scheduled Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 8:30 AM, spanning over 50 weeks annually, with a two-week break during the Christmas period. The role is based at a college in Nottinghamshire and involves being part of a friendly team focused on upholding high cleanliness standards across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

Primary duties include delivering quality cleaning services by ensuring hygiene, cleanliness, litter control, and tidiness throughout the college premises. Tasks involve cleaning floors, walls, surfaces, furniture, fittings, toilets, and handling spillages with a strong emphasis on detail and quality. The role requires operating cleaning machinery and using chemicals safely while complying with health and safety policies and COSHH regulations. Occasionally, the job involves managing clinical waste according to safety protocols.
