About the Opportunity
A leading Tier 1 contractor is recruiting a Civil Fitout Foreman for a major hyperscale data centre development project based in Copenhagen, Denmark. This role offers a competitive total package along with exceptional benefits designed to progress your career and financial growth. The position operates on a FIFO basis from Ireland with a roster of 17 days on and 4 days off, including all weekends off.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations within your designated site section to ensure workflow adherence.
- Lead and manage Section Site Supervisors and Assistant Site Supervisors to deliver tasks on time, meeting quality and program standards.
- Evaluate subcontractor and workforce performance ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
- Enforce health, safety, environmental, and quality management standards throughout your section.
- Keep detailed records such as daily logs, inspections, and material usage reports.
- Support the General Site Supervisor with site activity planning, resource distribution, and prioritizing tasks.
- Identify and escalate risks or issues promptly to senior site management.
- Engage in site briefings and toolbox talks to communicate expectations effectively.
- Provide mentorship and skill development guidance to junior site personnel.
- Promote ongoing improvements and champion company culture and values on site.
Required Qualifications and Training
- Trades or technical background complemented by site supervision experience.
- Certification in IOSH or equivalent health and safety training.
- Training in temporary works and excavation safety.
- Qualifications in working at heights and scaffolding safety.
- Training in lifting and cranage operations.
- Completion of other Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Safeguards (HSEQS) training as dictated by site requirements.
- Familiarity with BIM strategies and construction technologies.
Experience and Skills
- Proven leadership in supervising construction teams on medium-scale projects.
- Strong team management capabilities.
- In-depth understanding of construction methods, relevant trades, and regulatory codes.
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with teams and subcontractors.
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure to maintain program timelines and quality.
- Effective organizational skills for planning and managing tasks efficiently.
- Thorough knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Salary and Benefits
- Competitive total gross package ranging from €145,000 to €174,000, with a gross base salary between €60,000 and €80,000.
