Job Overview
Lead business growth and meet set targets within your assigned region by fostering and maintaining strong relationships with channel partners. Oversee a team of Sales Managers to ensure seamless business operations and uphold valued practices aligned with organizational goals.
Context and Major Challenges
This role primarily focuses on leveraging relationships with HDFC Bank in an Open Architecture environment, requiring careful alignment due to varied bank priorities. Balancing operational processes with channel partner expectations is a critical aspect of the position.
Key Responsibilities
- Consistently interact with channel partners and regional heads according to a defined schedule, mapping key decision makers and establishing regular review systems.
- Drive and implement reward and recognition (R&R) initiatives innovatively to motivate channel partners.
- Communicate product changes, procedural updates, and regulatory amendments effectively through various training modules.
- Support sales and service functions including sales calls, policy issuance, and complaint management.
- Manage multi-level relationships ensuring delivery of exceptional service and product availability to bank customers.
- Partner with channels to utilize R&R programs effectively, maximizing the return on investment and achieving targets across key metrics such as retention, activation, and product mix.
- Monitor and ensure the acquisition of profitable business mixes, conduct quality assurance, and enforce conduct standards among employees.
- Maintain persistency through regular MIS reporting and communication with channel partners, managing renewals proactively.
- Seek and create new business opportunities within the given territory to increase top-line growth while focusing on strategic product mixes and activation goals.
