Job Overview
Join NPS Leeds, a distinguished joint venture between Norse Group and Leeds City Council, as an Architectural Assistant Part II located in Leeds. This role offers up to A333,199 annually based on experience, requiring 37 hours of work per week. You'll be embedded within a national, award-winning consultancy delivering high-profile projects for both public and private sectors across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the design team by preparing drawings, specifications, conducting site surveys, and documenting existing structures and environments.
- Perform administrative duties related to architectural data production, including reprographics, drawing issuance, and filing.
- Deliver assigned work efficiently within agreed timeframes, budget constraints and financial targets.
- Create clear, precise design documentation and adhere to organizational procedures, standards, and protocols.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships and address client queries.
- Maintain a fee-earning contribution rate around 90% and assist in attaining business objectives.
- Occasionally travel to alternate offices or project sites as necessary.
- Consistently promote continuous improvement by delivering high-quality work that meets or exceeds quality standards.
- Embody the values of the Norse Way Corporate Social Responsibility strategy through personal commitment.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in architectural roles of a similar nature.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, graphic design software, and Autodesk Revit.
- Knowledge of current construction practices, health and safety regulations, including awareness of asbestos risks.
- Completed RIBA Part 1 and Part 2 qualifications and currently progressing towards Part 3.
- A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification in an Architecture-related field.
- Possession of a valid site card or willingness to obtain one immediately.
