Overview

This contract role focuses on child and online safety, emphasizing adolescent mental health and digital risk management. The position is remote with compensation ranging from $50 to $90 per hour and requires 10 to 40 hours per week commitment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed classifications for digital behaviors linked to self-harm, suicide prevention, eating disorders, and emotional dependencies among youth.
  • Set best-practice guidelines to promote digital support and clinical safety for adolescents' mental health.
  • Create frameworks to detect, flag, and analyze harmful online content related to mental health crises affecting minors.
  • Design and update clinical response criteria and escalation procedures to assist at-risk individuals within digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with project leaders to ensure evaluation metrics align with contemporary research and clinical standards.
  • Provide expertise on policies related to Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) adjacent issues and online exploitation to strengthen child safety online.
  • Communicate clear and actionable feedback to support the development of AI tools aimed at digital safety.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Substantial experience in adolescent mental health, suicide prevention, or interventions for eating disorders and related areas.
  • Licensed professional credentials such as therapist, psychiatrist, clinician, or mental health expert with hands-on crisis care experience.
  • Proven competence in clinical risk assessment and intervention within digital or online environments.
  • Possess an advanced degree, specialized certification, or comparable practical experience in mental health or child safety.
  • Experience with evaluating or applying policies related to CSAM or child online exploitation prevention.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills capable of simplifying complex concepts for a broad audience.
