Role Overview

We are seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join as a Cofounder, leading all technical facets of SeekCars.AI. This executive will spearhead the creation and deployment of our AI-driven automotive decision platform, crafting and steering the company's technological direction and innovation efforts as we scale globally. The CTO will play a vital role in developing the core AI algorithms and infrastructure that underpin our market edge. Initial involvement in startup funding efforts, specifically Preseeding to Seeding rounds, is expected.

Primary Responsibilities

• Establish and implement the technical vision and roadmap for our AI-powered automotive platform.
• Oversee the architecture, design, and deployment of core technology infrastructure and AI models.
• Recruit, guide, and mentor engineering, AI/ML, and data science teams to high performance.
• Make strategic decisions about technology investments, system architecture, and platform growth.
• Manage the creation of proprietary AI algorithms for vehicle comparison, recommendation, and analysis.
• Ensure that all technological systems are reliable, secure, and scalable to accommodate global expansion.
• Drive innovation via research & development in AI, machine learning, and data analytics.
• Work collaboratively with product leadership to translate business objectives into technical solutions.
• Define technology standards, best practices, and software development methodologies.
• Handle technology budgeting, resource allocation, and maintain vendor partnerships.
• Keep updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to sustain competitive advantage.
• Act as the company’s technical ambassador to investors, partners, and at industry conferences.
• Implement robust data governance and security policies protecting user data.
• Coordinate integration of third-party technologies and APIs within the platform.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Over 10 years in technology leadership, including at least 5 years in senior management roles.
• Proven success in building and scaling technology platforms, preferably consumer-focused.
• Deep knowledge of AI/ML, specializing in recommendation systems and data analytics.
• Experience guiding engineering teams through fast growth stages.
• Strong background in cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and microservices architecture.
• Knowledgeable in data privacy, security practices, and compliance standards.
• Familiar with agile development and DevOps methodologies.
• Automotive technology experience preferred.
• Understanding of UX/UI design principles and technical implementation.

Additional Information

The CTO will be actively involved in early-stage funding phases until Preseeding or Seeding rounds are secured. The role demands hands-on leadership in building a global scale platform in a startup environment, managing resource constraints, and coordinating cross-functional teams.

Location

The position is onsite in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
