IT Product Owner Procurement & Supply Chain (m/f/d)

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the Procurement and Supply Chain IT product portfolio, aiming to enhance business value, foster innovation, and achieve operational excellence.
• Collaborate closely with Global Business Process Owners to shape demands, set priorities, and propel digital transformation efforts.
• Define and implement the product vision, roadmap, backlog, and investment priorities in partnership with business stakeholders.
• Lead a multidisciplinary product squad responsible for both development and operational activities, integrating delivery, operations, and continuous enhancement.
• Oversee demand management, application lifecycle, release schedules, service performance, and vendor relationships within the Procurement and Supply Chain Management (SCM) domain.
• Drive digital transformation leveraging SAP platforms, data analytics, automation, and AI-powered solutions.
• Partner with business units, IT, data experts, architects, finance teams, and external vendors to create scalable, user-focused, and sustainable solutions.
• Promote solution adoption, ensure budget transparency, realize value, and continuously improve the digital Procurement and Supply Chain environment.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Deep knowledge and extensive practical experience in Procurement and/or Supply Chain processes along with their digital enablement.
• Proven background in Product Ownership, Product Management, or equivalent roles featuring full end-to-end responsibility.
• Expertise in SAP ecosystems such as S/4HANA, specifically related to Procurement or Supply Chain modules.
• Experience in leading complex digital transformation projects that yield tangible business results.
• Strong familiarity with data, analytics, automation technologies, and AI-enabled business solutions.
• Skill in building trust and influencing a diverse set of stakeholders to align business and technology goals globally.
• Strategic and outcome-driven mindset, solid decision-making abilities, and continuous curiosity to enhance technological value delivery.
