Job description
About the Company
AMZ Prep is a North American omnichannel fulfillment partner serving e-commerce brands that are ready to scale beyond experimentation. The company operates 20+ warehouses across the United States, Canada, and Europe, and runs one of the limited approved Seller Fulfilled Prime networks in North America. Its customers include brands generating $5M–$50M+ in categories such as cosmetics, food and beverage, pet, supplements, apparel, home, and oversized goods.
The company supports brands selling through Amazon, Shopify, Walmart, retail, and B2B channels. Businesses work with AMZ Prep when operations have become the main constraint to growth, and the organization focuses on solving that challenge quickly. It values speed, ownership, and a team culture that matches its ambition.
Role Overview
The Chief of Staff to the CRO will add structure, clarity, and strong execution discipline to a fast-moving revenue organization. This is a high-leverage role, not an administrative coordination position. The person in this role will sit across Sales, Marketing, Client Success, and RevOps, owning the go-to-market operating rhythm, strengthening cross-functional accountability, and leading strategic projects directly with the CRO.
The goal of the role is to make sure revenue priorities move from discussion into execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and facilitate the weekly sales meeting, including agenda preparation, scorecard review, and follow-up on every action item.
- Build and maintain the operating cadence for the revenue organization, including pipeline reviews, forecast meetings, QBRs, leadership check-ins, and partner reviews.
- Implement and manage EOS practices within RevOps, including L10 meetings, scorecards, rocks, and issue tracking.
- Set clear workflows, responsibilities, and handoff points between Sales and Marketing.
- Coordinate the GTM calendar and ensure smooth collaboration across functions.
- Spot process bottlenecks early and introduce scalable solutions before issues grow.
- Own the revenue scorecard end to end, including creation, updates, and ongoing management.
- Keep Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships accountable to weekly and monthly targets.
- Raise issues quickly, direct them to the right stakeholders, and track them through resolution.
- Ensure every representative, partner, and marketing effort has measurable goals attached.
- Provide the CRO with the visibility needed to make informed, timely decisions.
- Own the unified GTM metrics framework across funnel, pipeline, revenue, and productivity.
- Work with RevOps to maintain accurate reporting and live dashboards.
- Track KPIs against goals and flag risks before they become problems.
- Convert data into concise, executive-ready insights for the CRO and leadership team.
- Act as the link between Sales and Marketing so both teams stay aligned on goals and information.
- Coordinate follow-up on leads, connect campaigns to pipeline outcomes, and prevent work from slipping through gaps.
- Prepare strategy documents, meeting agendas, performance updates, and operational briefs.
- Clarify ownership, deadlines, and success criteria so expectations are unambiguous.
- Lead the quarterly GTM OKR cycle from planning through weekly reviews to final reporting.
- Turn CRO priorities into structured workstreams with named owners, milestones, and measurable outputs.
- Drive accountability for commitments with sound judgment, not just process management.
- Lead major GTM initiatives end to end, including sales playbooks, motion redesigns, territory and segmentation planning, new service and market launches, pricing and packaging analysis, competitive intelligence, positioning, partnership accountability frameworks, and channel development.
- Manage special projects from research and planning through cross-functional coordination and execution.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should bring 3–6 years of experience in a Chief of Staff, RevOps, or strategic execution role within a high-growth B2B environment. Hands-on exposure to EOS or a comparable operating system is important, including L10s, scorecards, rocks, and accountability routines.
The ideal candidate can confidently run a sales meeting, build and maintain a scorecard, track performance against targets, and explain the story behind the numbers. Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to align Sales and Marketing, run leadership discussions, and write clear strategy briefs without escalating every issue to the CRO.
Experience working directly with a CRO, VP of Sales, or another senior revenue leader is expected. The role also requires comfort with ambiguity and the ability to create structure independently. Experience in e-commerce, logistics, or supply chain is a plus.
Compensation and Work Location
Compensation is competitive and depends on experience. The position is based in Mississauga, Ontario, with an in-office schedule of three days per week.
Application Instructions
The hiring process begins with an initial fit check rather than interviews. Candidates are asked to email the founder, Blair, and include a 2–3 minute Loom video introducing themselves, explaining why they are interested in AMZ Prep, and sharing one example of something they have built, owned, or driven successfully.
