About the role
This position is for a Chief of Staff supporting the COO and helping the organization operate with greater focus, clarity, and efficiency. The role acts as a strategic partner responsible for converting high-level direction into execution, strengthening internal coordination, and keeping priorities moving across departments.
What you'll do
- Turn broader business goals into concrete action plans and make sure they are carried through across teams.
- Act as a link between the CEO, COO, leadership, employees, and outside stakeholders.
- Assist with HR and hiring efforts, with an emphasis on improving recruitment workflows and the employee journey.
- Review existing processes, project visibility, and reporting tools, then refine them so they can scale with the business.
- Work closely with the COO to assess priorities, monitor progress, and keep major initiatives aligned.
- Help manage recruiting activity, including candidate screening, interview coordination, and assessment support.
- Create and maintain internal communication approaches that encourage openness and engagement.
- Support employee growth programs such as training, mentoring, and performance management structures.
- Build executive summaries, internal updates, and KPI tracking dashboards.
- Spot operational roadblocks early, identify inefficiencies, and suggest practical solutions.
- Communicate on behalf of the company with partners, vendors, and clients when needed.

- Hands-on experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and applicant tracking systems.
Education and experience
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, or a related discipline is preferred. The ideal background includes 5 to 8 years of professional experience, with 2 to 3 years in a strategic, HR, or operations leadership capacity such as Chief of Staff, HR Business Partner, or Strategy Associate. Experience in a high-growth company or financial services setting is a plus.
Compensation and benefits
The salary range for this role is $130,000 to $160,000, depending on experience.
