Job description

About Growth Signals

Growth Signals is a seed-stage B2B startup focused on AI-led strategic innovation. The company is building tools that help teams uncover ideas sooner, test concepts more quickly, and expand impact across the organization. Customer focus is central to how the business grows, and early team members will help shape engagement, retention, and product/customer growth.

Our Culture

The team describes itself as hands-on, curious, and solution-oriented. The environment values quick feedback, openness, and thoughtful risk-taking. This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys uncertainty, performs well in a fast-moving startup setting, and is motivated by helping customers achieve outcomes.

Why Join Us

  • You will help define not only your own scope, but also how the company builds and scales.
  • Compensation includes a competitive salary along with early-stage equity.
  • The workplace follows a flexible, remote-first approach.
  • You’ll work closely with founders and contribute to product and customer strategy.
  • You’ll build connections with innovative customers solving complex problems using AI.

What You’ll Do

  • Work side by side with the CEO to turn strategic priorities into clear workstreams, timelines, and ownership.
  • Run the company’s weekly operating rhythm, including leadership meetings, follow-ups, priority tracking, and decision logging.
  • Create executive-facing materials such as leadership updates, board preparation content, and business summaries.
  • Keep leadership aligned and accountable on cross-team initiatives.

GTM Operations & Business Rhythm

  • Help organize and execute the company’s go-to-market motion across Sales, Partnerships, Marketing, and Customer Success.
  • Maintain visibility into pipeline health, funnel movement, and GTM activity.
  • Spot friction points in the customer journey and coordinate responses across teams.
  • Build simple, repeatable operating systems that improve execution without adding unnecessary process.

Deal Desk, Pipeline, and Reporting

  • Own the deal desk workflow, including support for deal structure, internal coordination, and approval routing.
  • Act as the main coordination point for complex or strategic deals.
  • Manage pipeline discipline, including forecasting inputs, stage definitions, and consistent CRM usage.
  • Develop executive-ready reporting on pipeline, conversion, and GTM performance.
  • Ensure leadership has an accurate, current view of business health and forward-looking indicators.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Drive execution across Sales, Product, Partnerships, and Customer teams.
  • Ensure smooth handoffs and alignment throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Support partner and alliance initiatives through coordination, follow-through, and tracking.
  • Take ownership of ambiguous, high-priority work that does not belong neatly in one function.

Special Projects & Strategic Initiatives

  • Lead important projects from early concept through completion.
  • Bring structure to new efforts by defining goals, owners, timelines, and success measures.
  • Help operationalize new ideas without creating heavy processes too early.
  • Act as a force multiplier for the CEO and broader leadership team.

Required Qualifications

  • 6–10+ years of experience in business operations, GTM operations, consulting, chief of staff, or a similar operating role.
  • Background in early-stage or fast-growth environments where priorities change quickly.
  • Strong grasp of go-to-market functions such as sales, partnerships, customer success, and marketing.
  • Experience supporting or managing pipeline, deal desk, forecasting inputs, or GTM reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to create structure in ambiguous situations and drive work across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level synthesis and writing.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage several priorities at once.
  • High sense of ownership, good judgment, and discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working closely with founders, CEOs, or executive teams.
  • Exposure to B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or consulting environments.
  • Experience using CRM platforms, reporting tools, and pipeline tracking frameworks.
  • Familiarity with partner ecosystems, alliances, or consulting-style revenue motions.
  • Ability to build lightweight systems from the ground up in fast-moving settings.
