Role overview

As Chief of Staff / Founder’s Associate, you will work directly with the founders on the company’s highest-priority strategic and operational work. Your scope may span the broader group or, depending on what matters most at the time, you may be embedded in one of the portfolio brands. The role offers broad exposure to what it takes to build and scale a modern consumer business across strategy, finance, product, operations and marketing.

What you will do

The work changes from week to week. You may be improving warehouse processes, coordinating a product launch, refining customer experience, rolling out AI tools, or collaborating with suppliers to resolve production issues. In short, you will act as an extension of the founders and help push the business forward wherever the need is greatest.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the founders on everyday business challenges and priorities.
• Own operational initiatives from initial concept through delivery.
• Streamline processes across operations, logistics, customer experience and product.
• Manage product launches and other cross-team initiatives.
• Work closely with suppliers, manufacturers and outside partners.
• Create dashboards and review business data to inform decisions.
• Introduce AI-enabled tools and automation into daily workflows.
• Spot operational blockers early and resolve them proactively.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding and internal projects as the team expands.
• Take on the most important task of the week, whatever it may be.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or being close to graduation.
• Strong ability to organize work and solve problems effectively.
• Entrepreneurial way of thinking with a strong bias for action.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a preference for figuring things out independently.
• Confidence taking full ownership in a fast-paced environment.
• Very good communication skills in both German and English.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Notion and AI tools such as Claude is advantageous.
• Background in startups, consulting, operations or consumer brands is helpful, though mindset is more important than prior experience.
