Job description

Position Overview

Reporting directly to the President of Parfums Christian Dior North America, the Chief of Staff, Director role is designed to provide strategic clarity, focus, and momentum during a period of accelerated growth and complexity. This role serves as the President’s primary strategic collaborator, responsible for shaping the medium and long-term agendas, clarifying priorities, and ensuring the organization has robust plans, governance structures, and disciplined execution to achieve sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted strategic adviser to the President on growth, strategy, and organizational focus.
  • Manage preparation and coordination of critical leadership events such as strategic reviews and planning sessions.
  • Introduce external insights and intellectual rigor to senior leadership dialogues.
  • Support the COMEX team by helping maintain focus amidst complex and competing priorities.
  • Develop and maintain important relationships including collaboration with the global Chief of Staff.
  • Lead formulation of 3 to 5 year strategic perspectives, aligning brand ambitions with growth potential and organizational capabilities.
  • Analyze market, consumer, brand, and performance data to inform strategic decisions and prioritizations.
  • Continuously articulate and adapt strategic priorities to focus on key drivers of sustainable value.
  • Maintain the coherence and consistency of the strategic narrative across leadership levels and teams.
  • Structure multiple growth initiatives into clear strategic pillars with defined goals, timelines, and outcomes.
  • Create frameworks to balance immediate business performance with longer-term brand and business expansion.
  • Coordinate with various departments to translate strategic initiatives into actionable plans.
  • Oversee annual and multi-year strategic planning, ensuring alignment between strategy, budgeting, and execution.
  • Design and manage governance processes, decision-making forums, and planning cycles in partnership with senior leadership.
  • Develop high-impact presentations and strategic materials to support executive decisions.
  • Monitor and adjust strategic programs based on market outcomes and shifting priorities.

Candidate Profile

  • 10 to 12 years of professional experience including at least 7 years in business strategy and transformation roles.
  • Demonstrated capability to combine high-level strategic vision with detailed executional expertise.
  • Proven effectiveness in clarifying ambiguity, prioritizing initiatives, and driving long-term projects.
  • Exceptional abilities in strategic thinking, synthesis, and engaging presentation development for senior leadership.
  • Strong leadership skills managing multiple programs and influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Highly organized and resilient, with a disciplined approach to fast-paced environments.
  • Ownership mindset with a strong sense of accountability.
