Role Overview
Join a dynamic, venture-backed early-stage technology firm based in San Mateo, CA, at the forefront of transforming business risk management through AI and automation. As Chief of Staff, you will collaborate directly with the CEO and play a critical role in guiding strategy, operations, and execution throughout the company.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the CEO to drive key strategic initiatives.
- Lead and manage cross-functional projects from inception through to delivery.
- Champion operational excellence with a focus on tracking and analyzing key performance indicators.
- Enhance communication flows, prioritization processes, and overall business performance.
- Support customer pilot programs, develop partnerships, and foster company growth.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of six years' professional experience in consulting, strategy, operations, or with rapidly scaling startups.
- Background as a co-founder, founding team member, or previous Chief of Staff in seed to Series B stage startups.
- Bachelor’s degree from a prestigious university and an MBA from a leading program are required.
- Fluency in AI-driven workflows, employing AI tools to streamline and enhance daily work.
- A results-oriented mindset demonstrated by proactively identifying and executing action items without awaiting direction, preferring to make assertive decisions.
- Experience independently managing challenging projects with measurable outcomes.
- Preferred experience includes working at top consulting firms (MBB) followed by roles in high-growth technology startups.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities combined with a proactive, hands-on approach and strong ownership.
