Position Overview
The Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) plays a vital role in supporting the CEO through comprehensive strategic and administrative assistance aimed at optimizing the CEO’s office functionality. This position calls for a highly organized and proactive individual capable of handling intricate scheduling demands, facilitating seamless communication, and acting as a reliable partner in initiatives both operational and strategic.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee the CEO’s demanding calendar by arranging meetings, appointments, and travel plans, prioritizing tasks to maximize effective use of time based on urgency and business priorities.
- Support executive governance by preparing meeting agendas, monitoring progress on action items, following up to ensure completion, and securing closure on critical decisions.
- Function as the communication gatekeeper and liaison, maintaining smooth interactions between the CEO and various internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and nurture relationships with senior leaders, board members, clients, and business partners, representing the CEO with utmost professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
- Organize and manage complex travel itineraries both domestically and internationally, including accommodations and expense tracking.
- Coordinate high-level events such as executive meetings, board sessions, and leadership retreats, handling all logistics and communications from start to finish.
