About the Company

Our client ranks among Europe's foremost Asset Managers and is seeking a Chief of Staff to support the CEO and COO in establishing a new startup division within the larger organisation.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Chief Executive Officer to define and implement the company's strategic plans.
  • Oversee and coordinate cross-departmental projects to ensure they align with organisational goals and meet set deadlines.
  • Serve as a dependable advisor by delivering insightful, data-backed analysis and recommendations.
  • Organise and manage follow-ups for high-level leadership meetings, including preparing board presentations and executive summaries.
  • Facilitate effective communication channels among departments, senior leaders, and external parties.
  • Create and uphold governance systems, policies, and operational procedures aimed at enhancing organisational efficiency.
  • Lead special initiatives including crisis response and change management efforts.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior employees, promoting a culture of high performance.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Between 2 and 10 years of professional experience, specifically within consulting or investment banking roles related to asset management, financial services, or allied fields.
  • Proven track record in steering cross-functional teams and delivering on strategic projects.
  • Exposure to working directly with executive-level leaders and board members.
  • Experience or familiarity with regulatory compliance, risk management, or corporate governance is advantageous.
  • Candidate must be able to work on-site at the London office.
