Position Summary
A reputable financial institution focused on growth is seeking an accomplished Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to join their executive leadership team. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CHRO will spearhead company-wide human capital strategies, ensuring alignment of talent management, corporate culture, and organizational effectiveness with overall business goals. This role is based onsite in the Greater Central New York or Northeast Pennsylvania area.
Core Responsibilities
- Advise the CEO and executive leadership as a strategic partner.
- Develop and implement HR strategies that encompass workforce planning, organizational design, succession planning, and change management.
- Oversee processes related to talent acquisition, leadership growth, employee engagement, retention, and career progression.
- Manage compensation structures, benefits, and total rewards programs.
- Advocate for a culture that is high-performing, inclusive, and aligned with organizational values.
- Ensure adherence to employment laws, compliance regulations, governance standards, and HR best practices.
- Lead initiatives involving HR technology, analytics, and continuous process improvements.
- Supervise programs concerning employee relations, wellness, engagement, and recognition.
- Administer HR budgeting, operational activities, and track performance metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a closely related discipline; advanced degrees or certifications such as SPHR or SHRM-SCP are highly preferred.
- Over 10 years of progressively responsible experience in HR leadership roles, including executive-level management.
- A track record of successfully managing HR functions in complex organizations with multiple locations.
- Expert knowledge of employment legislation, compensation and benefits administration, organizational development, and workforce planning techniques.
- Strong business insight, leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage change effectively.
- Experience in leveraging HR systems, analytics tools, and employing data-driven approaches in decision-making.
