Position Overview
As Chief Growth Officer, you’ll lead Sprig’s revenue and growth initiatives, overseeing everything from generating awareness and demand, through sales, onboarding, customer success, retention, expansion, and international development. This pivotal role requires strategically translating company objectives into actionable priorities, establishing clear KPIs, and ensuring effective collaboration across multiple teams including Revenue Operations, Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, Clinical Education, and more.
Responsibilities
- Drive a profitable, scalable revenue engine covering all customer lifecycle stages—acquisition, conversion, onboarding, retention, expansion, and growth.
- Develop comprehensive growth strategies with defined targets and accountability metrics across all customer-facing teams.
- Lead and integrate diverse functional teams: Revenue Operations, Customer Success, Sales, SDRs, Marketing, Events, Clinical Education, Digital Marketing, E-Commerce, and International Growth.
- Build and nurture leadership capabilities, succession planning, and a culture focused on ownership and continuous improvement.
- Leverage data and analytics to enhance forecasting, business intelligence, resource allocation, and strategic decisions.
- Manage commercialization efforts, including product launches, channel development, acquisition strategies, and expanding into domestic and international markets.
- Promote operational excellence through cross-functional planning and alignment with company priorities.
- Oversee budget management for the Growth Department, collaborating with Finance to prioritize investments with optimal ROI.
- Foster partnerships across departments such as Operations, Finance, Clinical, Product Development, and executive teams to meet organizational goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Management, Finance, or related fields; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years in progressive executive leadership positions.
- Proven track record executing annual revenue plans exceeding $20 million.
- Experience leading growth in entrepreneurial, founder-led, or expanding organizations.
- Expertise managing multiple customer-centric functions under one umbrella.
- Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams and develop leadership pipelines.
- Strong skills in forecasting, strategic planning, and business management.
- Experience handling multi-million-dollar departmental budgets and prioritizing investments.
- Proficient in partnering with Finance and executive leadership on forecasts and resource allocation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in medical device, dental, healthcare, or related industries.
- International commercial leadership experience.
- Knowledge of diverse distribution models.
- Experience building Revenue Operations, analytics, or business intelligence teams.
- Track record of scaling organizations through significant growth phases.
Work Conditions
This is a full-time, onsite leadership position based in Rocklin, California, requiring travel as needed to support company initiatives, customers, and distributors.
