About the Role
Prospera Executive is conducting a search for a Chief Financial Officer on behalf of a private equity-backed digital infrastructure platform that is preparing for its next stage of growth, capital deployment, and strategic expansion. Having solidified its presence as a leading platform in a fragmented market, and following substantial investment from a major global infrastructure investor, the company is focusing on accelerated expansion. This growth strategy combines organic development, capital investments, and strategic acquisitions with the aim of building a nationwide footprint.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the CEO, Board, and private equity sponsor to shape and implement the financial and strategic plan of the company.
- Take charge of capital markets activities such as raising and refinancing institutional debt, maintaining lender relationships, and optimizing the capital structure to support growth.
- Lead the evaluation, execution, and integration of strategic acquisitions, including managing financial due diligence, transaction processes, and post-merger integration.
- Manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, treasury functions, tax matters, controllership, and performance reporting while maintaining strong financial governance and operational standards.
- Develop advanced financial systems and reporting frameworks including KPIs to enable scalable growth and support informed decision-making.
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team capable of supporting the company's rapid expansion in a private equity environment.
- Serve as a trusted financial advisor to the executive leadership, Board, and investors to facilitate long-term value creation.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance executive in private equity-backed digital infrastructure, telecommunications, or other capital-intensive infrastructure sectors.
- Extensive capital markets expertise, including institutional debt fundraising, refinancing, lender relationship management, and capital structure optimization.
- Strong background in mergers and acquisitions with hands-on experience in leading acquisitions, conducting financial due diligence, overseeing transaction execution, and managing post-merger integration.
- Experience working closely with private equity sponsors, Boards, and executive teams during periods of rapid growth and change.
- Excellent commercial insight coupled with the ability to balance strategic financial decision-making and operational leadership.
- Data-driven and proactive leadership style, with a record of building and leading effective finance organizations in complex, fast-expanding companies.
