Smith’s Landing First Nation (SLFN) is a Treaty 8 Nation in northern Alberta, close to the Northwest Territories border, and represents 360 Dene members. The Nation is dedicated to protecting its lands and supporting the well-being and prosperity of its people through collaboration with all levels of government and delivery of programs in education, housing, lands, wellness, and health.

Role Summary

Smith’s Landing First Nation is looking for a seasoned Chief Executive Officer to take on a senior leadership role and work directly with the Chief and Council. This position calls for a strong background in executive management, sound judgment, and a professional approach. The CEO will help keep the Nation’s financial stewardship and long-term direction aligned with the vision set by Chief and Council.

Location

Fort Smith, Northwest Territories, Canada.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $140,000 to $160,000 per year.
