About the Role

The Channel Sales Manager for AMD and Acer will take ownership of partner development, distributor management, and channel growth in New Zealand. This position is centered on strengthening the partner network, improving sales performance, and making sure channel partners have the product knowledge and sales support needed to drive results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source, recruit, and onboard new channel partners to grow the company’s presence in the New Zealand market.
  • Develop trusted, long-term relationships with existing partners and support ongoing collaboration.
  • Equip partners with the right tools, materials, and guidance to help them sell successfully.
  • Work toward and surpass channel sales goals and revenue targets.
  • Partner with channel stakeholders to shape and execute sales plans that support business growth.
  • Review partner performance, interpret results, and provide feedback to improve outcomes.
  • Deliver regular training to partners on products, sales methods, and market developments.
  • Keep partners informed about new launches and marketing activity so they can align with company plans.
  • Coordinate with internal marketing teams to produce co-branded assets and campaign support for partners.
  • Plan and run joint promotions, webinars, and events that generate demand through the channel.
  • Track key sales indicators, pipeline progress, and partner performance against business objectives.
  • Share regular updates and performance reports with senior management.
  • Stay current on channel trends, risks, and opportunities to improve sales approaches.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to maintain strong internal alignment.
  • Pass partner and market feedback to product teams to help inform product improvements.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or a similar discipline is required.
  • Applicants should have at least 5 years of experience in channel sales, partner management, or a closely related area.
  • Hands-on experience in managing and growing channel partnerships is needed.
