About the Role
Following rapid global expansion, Asana is seeking a Channel Partner Manager for South Asia to join its growing APAC Channel Partnerships division. Unlike standard partner program management roles, this position combines commercial acumen akin to an Account Executive with the deep relationship-building skills required to collaborate effectively with partners. You will work alongside channel partners directly with customers, helping to articulate Asana’s value proposition convincingly and facilitating deal closures that endure. Reporting to the Head of APAC Channel Partnerships, you will be an accountable, quota-bearing team member focused on driving revenue growth through the partner ecosystem across South Asia.
This position is based in Singapore with a mostly office-centric hybrid work schedule. Core in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Remote work is usually permitted on Wednesdays, while Friday remote options vary depending on your team and tasks. Specific office attendance requirements will be communicated during recruitment.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate revenue by engaging South Asia channel partners actively throughout the sales process, from discovery to deal closure.
- Coach partners to lead quality discovery conversations uncovering customer challenges and matching those needs to Asana’s offerings.
- Create and present compelling executive-level presentations and business cases with partners to engage senior stakeholders credibly.
- Identify, onboard, and nurture scaled service partners and Asana Certified Pros capable of independently representing Asana.
- Take full ownership of regional performance metrics, tracking revenue goals and facilitating regional growth.
- Collaborate with partners to develop joint go-to-market strategies focused on meaningful customer outcomes and long-term success.
- Serve as the critical connector between partners and Asana’s internal sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure well-supported deals.
- Grow influence across functions and deepen platform expertise within a global scaling framework.
Candidate Profile
- Over five years of experience covering channel partnerships and direct/indirect B2B SaaS sales with proven quota attainment.
- Skilled in conducting thorough discovery to identify customer pain points and coaching partners on these techniques.
- Exceptional storytelling capability, linking customer challenges to product solutions dynamically using presentations, whiteboarding, or live product demonstrations.
- Comfortable engaging executive-level audiences and managing complex queries effectively.
- Experience in building and scaling partner programs successfully without compromising quality.
- Solid understanding of the B2B SaaS sales lifecycle, including pipeline creation, solution selling, negotiation, and post-sale growth.
- Curiosity and willingness to explore AI and emerging technologies to boost productivity and decision-making.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; fluency in Hindi is advantageous.
Compensation & Benefits
Asana offers a comprehensive remuneration package reflecting your impact and market standards. The On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this role range from SGD 262,000 to 298,000, which includes an estimated base salary of SGD 183,400 to 208,600 and sales incentives as per the Sales Incentive Plan. Actual compensation will depend on market factors and individual qualifications. Additional components may include equity and benefits.
- Support for mental health, wellness, and fitness.
- Career development and coaching.
- Inclusive family building offerings.
- Retirement and long-term savings plans.
- In-office culinary options catering to dietary needs.
Benefits may vary by role and location. Detailed information will be provided during the hiring process.
