Role Overview
The Channel Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, creating, and refining marketing campaigns across email, social media, and direct channels to support brand marketing efforts, promotional events, and key sales periods. This role collaborates with teams such as Creative, Member Marketing Services, Revenue Marketing, and Digital Experience to manage content delivery, audience targeting, and performance tracking across owned and paid social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, schedule, and execute email marketing campaigns involving calendar management, audience segmentation, content customization, quality assurance, and delivery coordination.
- Oversee coordination of organic and partner social media posts with brand and creative teams, managing asset flow and scheduling via appropriate tools.
- Support initiatives involving direct mail and other owned marketing channels, including push notifications and app content, partnering with Digital Experience teams.
- Align marketing channel plans with seasonal promotions, circular advertising, and banner-specific campaigns in partnership with Member Marketing Services and Revenue Marketing teams.
- Maintain consistent brand messaging across varying banners while adapting content to suit each banner's unique identity.
- Work closely with Analytics to define key performance indicators, develop dashboards, analyze campaign results, and recommend testing and optimization strategies.
- Manage routing and approvals processes, maintain content calendars, and document best practices to enhance team efficiency.
- Assist with audience segmentation requests, coordinating efforts with CRM and marketing technology departments as necessary.
- Support social media community engagement policies and response strategies working with brand teams.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline preferred.
- Two to four years of experience in channel, CRM, or email/social media marketing within retail or consumer brand environments.
- Familiarity with Email Service Providers (ESPs), social media platforms, and analytical techniques including UTM parameter usage.
- Strong writing and editing capabilities, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in quality assurance of marketing assets.
- Experience with A/B testing methodologies and iterative campaign refinement.
Physical and Work Requirements

- Ability to sit or stand at a computer for extended periods.
- Compliance with a four-day per week in-office attendance requirement.
- Willingness and capability to travel as dictated by role demands.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for the Channel Marketing Specialist position is $80,000 to $105,000 annually, dependent on experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget considerations.
