Key Responsibilities
- Administer anesthetic agents thoughtfully to patients undergoing surgery.
- Perform thorough pre-anesthesia assessments to determine tailored anesthetic plans.
- Continuously monitor patients during anesthesia to ensure safety and stability.
- Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia care for medical records, compliance, and research purposes.
- Provide mentorship and supervision to students and other medical personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a nursing program and an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure and Nurse Anesthetist certification valid in Texas.
- Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from recognized providers.
- Previous work experience is not mandatory.
