About the Role
My Clinic is a leading multispecialty outpatient healthcare provider in Saudi Arabia. This opportunity is for a General Practitioner to support Center of Excellence (COE) programs and provide comprehensive care to patients across age groups and conditions.
Role Summary
The role is centered on delivering complete medical care, with an emphasis on prevention, screening, better disease control, improved medication adherence, reduced complications, stronger patient education, self-management support, healthy lifestyle guidance, patient satisfaction, engagement, and outcome measurement.
Key Duties
- Carry out detailed patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examination, and diagnostic evaluation to identify health issues.
- Request and interpret laboratory, imaging, and other diagnostic investigations in line with clinical findings and evidence-based practice.
- Oversee care for patients with chronic conditions through monitoring, medication management, and lifestyle counselling.
- Support prevention and screening initiatives for at-risk individuals and families, including early detection, education, and follow-up care.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to build coordinated and comprehensive treatment plans.
- Keep complete and accurate medical documentation, including histories, exam findings, test results, treatment plans, progress notes, referral forms, and population health dashboards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and care navigator for patients.
- Educate patients on disease management, self-monitoring, healthy habits, physical activity, lifestyle changes, and adherence to prescribed medication.
- Guide patients on preventing complications and understanding the importance of regular follow-up visits.
- Monitor assigned patient groups regularly, review treatment response, and adjust care plans under the supervision of the MRP.
- Provide follow-up appointments to track progress, resolve concerns, and maintain ongoing support.
- Ensure COE group touchpoint targets and healthcare outcome measures are achieved within the specified goals.
- Contribute to the development of new COE programs across departments and document processes and procedures in program manuals.
- Support business development activities and help grow patient volume across COE services.
- Stay current through continuous medical education, including updated research, guidelines, treatment approaches, conferences, and professional development.
- Perform additional professional responsibilities assigned by the line manager.
Education
Doctor of Medicine degree is required.
