About the Role

Join a locally owned and operated store in Osoyoos, British Columbia, to provide health, beauty, and convenience services while focusing on delivering exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer outstanding customer service and engage positively with all patrons.
• Keep the checkout area clean, orderly, and well-maintained.
• Warmly welcome customers and assist them through the checkout process.
• Precisely scan or enter product details at the point of sale.
• Accurately handle cash, coupons, lottery tickets, and PC Optimum transactions.
• Request the customer's PC Optimum Card with every transaction.
• Complete proper documentation regarding customer receipts and product returns.
• Merchandise assigned sections by managing product facing, signage, and labeling.
• Adhere strictly to loss prevention procedures and manage inventory of cash, lottery, and stamps.
• Present a professional appearance in accordance with uniform and dress policies.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and store policies.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and store presentation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Strong planning, judgment, and decision-making abilities.
• Balance teamwork with efficiency in processing customer orders.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and neatness.
• Well-developed computer and cash register skills.
