About the Role
Become part of a community-focused, locally managed store providing health, beauty, and convenience products while prioritizing customer satisfaction at every touchpoint.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee customer service activities including cashier management, cash handling, and merchandising tasks.
- Ensure compliance of cashier and merchandising teams with all store policies and operational guidelines.
- Conduct training and continuous coaching of cashiers and merchandisers.
- Implement all loss prevention protocols, manage daily cash office inventory, track cashier activities, and adhere to PC Optimum procedures.
- Maintain a professional image for store employees in line with Uniform Policy.
- Respond to customer inquiries such as product locations and rainchecks, and resolve issues including refunds and exchanges within established guidelines.
- Promote customer satisfaction surveys to gather feedback.
- Maintain clean, well-organized shelves with appropriate stock rotation and assist with setting up or dismantling product displays as directed.
- Uphold store standards for cleanliness, image, and health and safety regulations.
- Perform clerical and banking activities as required, and comply fully with store policies and loss prevention measures.
- Step in for cashier duties when necessary and carry out other relevant tasks as assigned.
Candidate Qualifications
- Strong planning, sound judgement, and decisive decision-making skills.
- Ability to independently organize store operations.
- Problem-solving aptitude essential to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Basic computer proficiency and organizational capabilities.
- Effective time management skills.
- Familiarity with store products and supplies.
