Role Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable Cases Editor to enhance our Westlaw cases product for New Zealand primary law. This position involves ensuring legal case content is accurate, current, and user-friendly while supporting effective legal research.

Key Responsibilities

• Summarize judicial decisions across various cases effectively.
• Apply internal taxonomy for classification of case decisions; identify and record relevant case relationships.
• Maintain and update case quantum trackers with specialized subject content.
• Utilize AI-assisted research and editorial tools daily to improve content quality and efficiency.
• Engage in editorial projects and collaborate within business teams.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a law degree with understanding of New Zealand's legal framework.
• Strong research abilities complemented by excellent communication skills.
• Adept at interpreting, analyzing, and presenting complex legal information clearly.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office and digital legal research platforms.
• Meticulous attention to detail, especially considering customer quality standards.
• Flexible with adapting swiftly to changing priorities and processes.
