Job description
Role Overview
This full-time position within Community Correctional Services (CCS) is dedicated to enhancing public safety by supporting the rehabilitation of individuals who pose a medium to high risk of reoffending. The role applies evidence-based case management strategies to engage clients and deliver focused interventions aimed at reducing recidivism.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and analyze factors influencing the offending behavior of individuals.
- Engage and motivate clients to actively participate in their case management plan.
- Compile comprehensive reports and documentation adhering to organizational standards.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with court order requirements.
Candidate Profile
- Confident and assertive in managing clients exhibiting challenging behaviors.
- Ability to foster and maintain positive relationships within a small, collaborative team.
- Well-versed in case management of complex client needs.
- Exemplifies and encourages pro-social behavior among peers and clients.
- Observes verbal and non-verbal cues effectively, promoting inclusivity.
Additional Information
Some travel within the Barwon South West region may be necessary.
