We are currently seeking career changers for the position of Construction Site Safety Specialist (m/f/d) at DB Fahrwegdienste GmbH in Berlin or Potsdam.

Training Program

• Over approximately one year, you will systematically learn the necessary skills for this role.
• The training alternates between theoretical lessons and practical application, allowing you to observe and immediately practice the required tasks.
• You will be supported and mentored by experienced colleagues to ensure a smooth transition into this new career path.
• Theoretical classes are held close to your residence whenever possible, while practical assignments typically take place in your future work area.
• From the outset, you will receive a stable and secure salary.

Post-Training Duties

• Ensure the safety of all personnel at railway construction sites as part of a team.
• Warn workers operating on the tracks about approaching trains using various signals and advanced warning systems.
• Implement safety protocols and instruct new safety personnel on site.
• Communicate effectively with different stakeholders to guarantee smooth operations.
• Independently organize and supervise the safety measures at construction sites.

Candidate Profile

• At least 18 years old with a minimum of a secondary school leaving certificate (Hauptschulabschluss).
• No previous professional experience required, but reliability and willingness to maintain safety is essential.
• Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Proficient in German communication, both spoken and written.
• Flexible regarding night shifts, weekend work, and changing work locations.
• A driver's license class B and personal vehicle are advantageous but not mandatory.
