About the Role
The Care Co-ordinator works collaboratively with the designated Client Care Manager to oversee and expand operations within a specific area of the company. This role supports the achievement of company goals by ensuring high-quality service delivery to service users, aligned with the organisation's Quality Assurance Policy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage growth by handling new package requests from HSE and private sectors.
- Maintain and upload weekly carer rosters and client templates.
- Oversee and take full accountability for rotas and staffing schedules.
- Monitor client care calls, including tracking missed or late visits.
- Submit daily timesheets accurately and on time.
- Identify opportunities for business expansion and coordinate with recruitment for staffing needs.
- Collaborate closely with the Client Care Manager to meet area-specific objectives.
- Provide exemplary customer service in communication with clients, care managers, and carers.
- Develop strong internal relationships with business functions such as recruitment and compliance.
- Engage effectively with external customers and stakeholders to maximize business potential within the CHO geography.
- Prepare management reports reflecting run efficiency and staffing capacity on a weekly basis.
- Compile comprehensive reports on referrals, and monthly, quarterly, and annual business performance.
- Log and escalate daily concerns or issues to on-call personnel.
- Design contingency plans and manage risks proactively.
- Maintain detailed records of client and carer issues using internal systems.
- Answer incoming calls professionally, providing knowledgeable and courteous support.
- Adapt and grow with the evolving needs of a rapidly expanding business.
- Perform additional duties as required to meet company responsibilities.
Candidate Profile
- Proven leadership in increasing business hours and operational growth.
- Proficient use of IT systems to enhance efficiency.
- Exceptional customer service skills, including the ability to calmly resolve complaints and concerns.
- Strong relationship-building capabilities and effective external business representation.
- Experience in business development with commercial insight and ambition.
- Competence in risk management.
- Demonstrates energy and resilience in a dynamic environment.
- Effective people management skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation abilities.
- Open mindset towards problem-solving.
- Familiarity with the geography of County Meath.
Working Hours
The position requires working Monday to Friday, with shifts either from 8:30am to 5:00pm or from 9:00am to 5:30pm.
