We are looking for a Capital Markets Subject Matter Expert based in Riyadh to drive a critical brokerage platform transformation. This permanent role involves delivering specialist functional knowledge across front-to-back brokerage operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting business goals. The SME will collaborate with diverse teams including business units, risk, compliance, technology, and third-party vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer deep subject matter expertise spanning front-office, middle-office, back-office, and post-trade brokerage workflows.
• Organize and facilitate workshops with multiple stakeholders such as trading, risk, compliance, and technology teams.
• Validate business requirements and align them with the target operating model of the organization.
• Evaluate platform capabilities including order management, execution, risk controls, positions, settlement, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Advise on integrations with internal systems, market infrastructure, custodians, brokers, and external entities.
• Ensure processes and control measures comply fully with regulatory and market standards.
• Conduct platform demos review to identify functional gaps, dependencies, limitations, and considerations for implementation.
• Guide related functions like client onboarding, product entitlement, margin trading, relationship management, reconciliation, and liquidity management.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer among business, operational, and technology teams.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated expertise in capital markets, securities brokerage, or trading platform transformation projects.
• In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabian market infrastructure including Tadawul, Muqasa, and Edaa.
• Comprehensive understanding of the trade lifecycle: order capture, routing, execution, allocation, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Familiarity with asset classes, order types, trading authorizations, margin instruments, and corporate actions.
• Hands-on experience implementing systems and migrating data.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation abilities.
• Capability to clearly explain complex capital markets concepts to both business and technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in capital markets, trading, or product management are a plus.
• Fluent in English, with Arabic language skills considered advantageous.
