Role overview

Successful candidates will join one of Ryanair Group’s operational bases in the autumn/winter period. Cabin crew members play an important role in delivering a safe, pleasant and high-quality onboard experience while working within a fast-paced airline environment. The position can involve direct or agency contract arrangements depending on the base.

What the job involves

Training begins with a 6-week course that covers the essential knowledge and practical skills needed for the role. Trainees study throughout the course, complete assessments at regular intervals, and finish with supernumerary flights before receiving their cabin crew wings. Day-to-day work combines safety duties with customer service and requires flexibility to handle early and late shifts.

Working conditions

This is a demanding but rewarding position. Early roster days may start as early as 5:00 am, while late roster days can end around midnight. The working pattern follows a fixed 5 days on / 3 days off schedule. Candidates should be comfortable with shift work and the pace of airline operations.

Requirements

• Applicants must have the unrestricted right to live and work in the EU and to travel freely across the Ryanair network
• Approximate height requirement: between 5'2" (157 cm) and 6'2" (188 cm)
• Must be able to swim 25 metres unaided
• A hardworking, adaptable and flexible approach is important
• Applicants should be friendly, outgoing and comfortable working with the public
• Strong customer service skills and a positive, proactive attitude are expected
• Good spoken and written English is required
• Interest in travel and meeting new people is desirable
• Must be happy to work on a roster with early and late shifts
