Where you'll work
Job description
Company Overview
Aussie has spent more than three decades helping 1.5 million Australians get into homeownership. The business has expanded beyond lending to also support buyers through buyer’s agent services, backed by a well-known brand, strong operational support, and modern technology. The goal is to build one of the fastest-growing buyer’s agencies in Australia.
Role Summary
In this position, you will work from an Aussie store as a retail buyer’s agent, partnering with mortgage brokers and in-store colleagues to turn finance-approved clients into completed property purchases. The role is designed like your own local territory, supported by brand strength, technology, and an established referral network.
What You Will Do
You will guide qualified buyers through the property acquisition journey from initial brief to settlement support. The role combines sourcing, advisory work, research, negotiation, and relationship management.
- Partner with finance-ready clients to clarify their property requirements and buying goals
- Search for suitable homes across on-market, pre-market, and off-market opportunities
- Carry out research and due diligence on properties and markets
- Handle negotiations and oversee the purchase process through to completion
- Develop and maintain strong connections with relevant industry partners
- Provide a service experience that builds confidence, loyalty, and repeat business
- Work with brokers to align on each client’s objectives and purchase timing
- Run buyer strategy meetings and prepare tailored property briefs
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is motivated, ethical, and genuinely enthusiastic about property, with a strong desire to help buyers succeed.
- A Class 1 Real Estate Licence, or an equivalent qualification
- Demonstrated experience managing at least 20 residential transactions end to end
- Solid understanding of the local market, property sourcing methods, and how buyers make decisions
- Negotiation ability that earns trust while producing strong outcomes
Standout Experience
- Experience as a buyer or investor, with a strong understanding of the client journey
- Background working with off-market properties or investor-focused clients
- Comfort operating in a role with a high degree of independence and strong earning upside
Why This Role May Appeal to You
- Strong earning potential, with on-target earnings above $200K
- Access to high-intent buyers, allowing you to focus on sourcing, advising, and negotiating rather than cold prospecting
- Centralised support and marketing resources at scale
- Advanced technology, including proprietary data analytics, property tools, pre-market stock access, and systems that reduce admin work and improve deal flow
- Ongoing sales and advisory coaching in deal strategy, negotiation, and buyer psychology
- The advantage of working under a long-established brand trusted by more than 4.5 million Australians
Additional Information
If you want to help shape the future of property buying in Australia and build a strong partnership within a trusted retail store environment, this opportunity is designed for you.
