Role overview
An established investment manager is hiring a Buy Side Investment Analyst for its European investment team in Dublin city centre. The position is focused on uncovering attractive opportunities in European corporate credit markets and supporting investment decisions through rigorous analysis. What you will do
- Perform detailed due diligence on prospective investments across companies and sectors within the European corporate credit space.
- Analyse financial statements and balance sheets to inform investment views and decisions.
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models, then turn your analysis into clear investment recommendations.
- Meet management teams of potential portfolio companies, including some travel as needed.
- Track the performance of existing portfolio holdings and contribute to investment committee discussions.
What the role calls for
- Between 1 and 4 years of experience in an investment-focused role such as credit analysis, equity research, or corporate finance.
- A strong academic record, with at least a 2:1 Honours degree in Finance, Quantitative Studies, Business, Law, Engineering, or a related field.
