Role Overview
The Butler in VIP Services is responsible for creating a highly personalized guest journey by anticipating needs, gathering and tracking guest preferences, and ensuring each suite is fully prepared before arrival according to the guest’s requirements. The role includes welcoming guests at the Porte Cochere, escorting them to the suite, completing in-room check-in, and handling luggage and personal belongings in line with guest preferences.
The butler also coordinates guest dry cleaning and laundry, arranges agendas and schedules such as reservations and activities, and keeps other departments informed so that every detail of the stay is managed smoothly.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related discipline and brings at least 2 years of butler experience. The role calls for strong teamwork, organization, multitasking ability, a positive mindset, and excellent English communication. Successful candidates should think strategically, bring creative ideas, adapt quickly to change, and work with a hands-on, service-first approach. A genuine interest in guest care and the ability to understand situations from the guest’s point of view are essential.
