- Create detailed business cases encompassing market sizing, competitor analysis, financial forecasts, and risk evaluations.
- Track industry trends and competitor activity to maintain Lyft Business's competitive edge.
- Lead the end-to-end process of establishing B2B partnerships from evaluating opportunities and commercial strategy to cross-functional launch, unlocking new growth avenues.
- Utilize quantitative and qualitative data to analyze critical business metrics and guide strategic choices.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and analytics teams to align on key strategic initiatives and transform them into implemented and trackable projects.
- Develop executive-level presentations and reports to inform Lyft leadership.
Candidate Profile and Experience

- At least 5 years’ experience in business strategy, management consulting, or related areas with a history of driving strategic business growth.
- Proven expertise in planning and executing go-to-market strategies for B2B products or services, preferably within transportation or technology sectors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of transforming data into strategic insights.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguous situations and structuring loosely defined problems to reach decisions.
- Proven success influencing senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.
- Strong communication skills, adept at delivering complex information to diverse audiences.
- Thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Experience in partnership or business development is a plus.
- Familiarity with operations in high-growth or technology companies is an advantage.
Benefits
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance with additional support programs.
- Mental health resources.
- Family planning and child care benefits, plus pet care perks.
- 401(k) plan with company matching contributions.
- Paid time off including 12 holidays and discretionary days for salaried employees; 15 PTO days for hourly staff.
- 18 weeks of paid parental leave available for biological, adoptive, and foster parents.
- Subsidized commuting benefits.
- Monthly Lyft ride credits and complimentary Lyft Pink membership.
