Role Overview
The Technology division supports systems and experiences that power Revolut's platform, focusing on innovation and impact. The Operational Resilience Manager is tasked with strengthening the company's capacity to endure and recover from disruptions, maintaining seamless critical operations and services. This role demands collaboration across various departments including service owners, Compliance, Risk, and service delivery teams to ensure thorough documentation and reporting aligned with operational resilience standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate across departments to evaluate and enhance operational resilience frameworks.
- Develop, implement, and execute contingency strategies encompassing business continuity, crisis management, and scenario-based playbooks.
- Oversee testing programs at the group level, designing complex failure scenarios, monitoring dashboards, and key indicators.
- Provide executive support during crisis situations safeguarding customer interests and company security.
- Lead post-event analyses to refine and improve operational procedures continuously.
- Partner with Product and Data teams to build an exemplary resilience function.
- Leverage data analytics to assess business operations and institute resilience initiatives.
- Prepare frequent detailed reports for senior management concerning the status and improvements of continuity efforts.
- Keep abreast of emerging risks and sector trends to adapt resilience strategies accordingly.
- Ensure adherence to relevant European Union and French regulations governing operational resilience.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, risk management, or a related discipline.
- At least 4 years of professional experience in operational resilience, risk management, or business continuity within the financial sector.
- Proven experience implementing regulatory frameworks such as the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and FCA PS21/3.
- Strong understanding of industry standards and legal requirements pertinent to operational resilience and continuity planning.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making competencies.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with effective stakeholder management.
- Familiarity with tools and technologies employed for risk evaluation, resilience, and continuity management.
Desired Skills
- Basic knowledge of SQL.
- Certification or accreditation from the Business Continuity Institute.
- Experience utilizing G-Suite and Google Cloud services.
