Business Engagement Specialist

About the role

Kiwibank is hiring a Business Engagement Specialist to join its Business Banking team in Auckland. This position is the first point of contact for business customers and focuses on handling queries through phone, email, and web channels while spotting ways to add value. The role contributes to positive customer outcomes and supports Kiwibank’s goal of helping Kiwi businesses succeed.

What you’ll do

• Act as the main contact for business customers across phone, email, and web.
• Resolve customer questions and service issues efficiently.
• Look for opportunities to provide additional value to customers.
• Help deliver strong customer experiences that support business banking goals.

What we’re looking for

• Background in phone-based or frontline customer service, with a strong focus on customer experience.
• Comfort managing a wide range of customer queries across different communication channels.
• Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to establish trust quickly.
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication.
• Self-driven attitude, positivity, and a willingness to learn.
