Role Overview
As a Business Development Representative focused on appointment setting, you'll play a critical part in generating new sales opportunities. This position centers on high-volume outbound communication and prospect development, setting qualified appointments for the sales team rather than closing deals directly. Success in this role demands energy, determination, a passion for outreach, and a willingness to tackle challenges proactively.
Key Responsibilities
- Make over 100 outbound calls each day targeting business owners and decision-makers
- Initiate and manage outbound email and text campaigns to potential clients
- Assess prospects for qualification and book appointments on behalf of the sales team
- Skillfully handle objections and bypass gatekeepers with professionalism
- Build rapport in initial contacts and foster engaging conversations
- Maintain consistent follow-ups and send marketing materials post-conversation
- Record all prospect interactions, update contact details, and manage lead statuses in the CRM
- Schedule appointments for regional sales representatives and keep their pipelines well-organized
- Monitor outreach metrics, submit weekly/monthly activity reports, and review pipeline health
Performance Expectations
- Consistently reach a target of 100+ daily outbound calls
- Book at least one qualified appointment each business day
- Demonstrate ongoing follow-up and meticulous management of the sales pipeline
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Demonstrated history of successful outbound B2B cold calling
- Background in appointment setting and/or business development
- Exceptional objection-handling and prospecting abilities
- Excellent spoken and written English, comfortable conversing with US-based executives
- Self-motivation with a drive to meet and exceed targets
- Strong organizational talents and adept time management
Technical Skills
- Experience using CRM platforms
- Familiarity with sales dialer systems and email outreach tools
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office suite and Google Workspace
- Efficient calendar management

Additional Information
- This is a remote, full-time opportunity working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time
- Compensation includes a $1,500 monthly base salary plus commissions: $70 for each janitorial services deal closed and $30 for other facility services
