Job description
Role summary
This position is focused on customer relationship management and business development for a defined food-service channel, such as restaurants, recreation, and hotels. The role may be based in Vancouver or Calgary and involves handling an assigned portfolio of existing PepsiCo customers while also identifying and developing new business within the channel.
The representative will work across both office and in-store environments to support execution and growth plans, and will partner closely with PepsiCo’s Away From Home field and Key Accounts teams.

Total compensation for this position is $56,700 to $92,400.
Key responsibilities
- Grow volume and revenue across key food-service accounts by using data-driven selling approaches
- Develop strong customer partnerships and improve satisfaction through high-quality service and execution
- Launch and support local and national promotional programs to strengthen brand presence and performance
- Make sure customer activity aligns with contract requirements
- Partner with the Selling Operations team to raise overall customer satisfaction
- Review customer and market data using Circana insights to spot and pursue new business opportunities
- Manage fountain, bottle, can, and supply income growth
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of fact-based selling experience
- Post-secondary education is required
- A valid driver’s licence and dependable vehicle are mandatory
- Experience in Away From Home is considered an advantage
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
- Good understanding of the market environment that affects customers
- Capability in strategic insight, business planning, conflict management, communication, influence, and financial understanding
- Strong sales and negotiation ability
- Well-developed interpersonal skills with an assertive, proactive, and analytical sales-oriented approach
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Broad background across sales, sales management, and cross-channel work
