Job description
Role Overview
This position is for a Business Development Manager who will help scale a Technology Services & Outsourcing business. The role is centred on winning new enterprise clients, growing existing relationships, and positioning technology outsourcing and managed services offerings to large organisations.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and pursue fresh business opportunities across enterprise and public sector accounts.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders in IT, Operations, Procurement, and wider business teams.
- Manage the sales funnel, prepare proposals, and lead commercial negotiations.
- Grow current customer accounts through cross-sell and upsell initiatives.
- Collaborate with delivery and project teams to shape tailored customer solutions.
- Contribute to tender responses, RFP submissions, and solution presentations.
Solutions Portfolio
- Technology deployment offerings such as device refreshes, rollouts, and migrations.
- Workplace technology services including application support, application testing, desktop support, helpdesk, and IMAC.
- Operational technical services covering engineering, manufacturing, and technical workforce solutions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management.
- Background in IT services, managed services, outsourcing, systems integration, or workforce solutions is preferred.
- Strong ability to engage clients and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Demonstrated success in winning new business and expanding existing accounts.
Preferred Background
Applicants with experience in IT managed services, systems integration, technology outsourcing, or workplace technology services will be viewed favourably.
Success Measures
- Gross profit generated from new business.
- Value of pipeline created.
- Number of new clients acquired.
- Revenue growth from account expansion.
