About the Role
This opportunity is with a global ICT infrastructure and smart devices leader that delivers integrated solutions across products and services for carriers, enterprises, public sector organizations, and consumers. The team is hiring a Senior Researcher focused on computer architecture modeling and simulation.
What You Will Do
- Contribute to planning, research, and delivery of modeling, simulation, and optimization methods for computer architecture.
- Help design and build simulation and modeling platforms for generative recommendation systems and next-generation computer architecture analysis to support workload-architecture co-design.
- Study industry and technology trends in architecture modeling, simulation, and system optimization, and use those insights to guide technical planning.
- Develop efficient simulation and modeling frameworks using techniques such as generative recommendation system modeling, dynamic AI workload modeling, and new computer architecture simulation.
- Create simulation environments for generative recommendation systems that use memory pooling architecture, PD separation deployment, and Ascend affinity model design to enable stronger hardware-software co-design.
- Identify and coordinate collaborative research initiatives with technical leaders from top universities in Singapore to advance innovation efforts.
What We Are Looking For
- A Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of modern computer architecture, including CPU and GPU concepts, memory hierarchy, distributed computing principles, and emerging computing architectures.
- Hands-on capability in hardware-software co-design and system-level optimization.
- Experience working with AI model workloads such as recommendation systems, large language models, and vision-language models.
- Demonstrated ability to improve performance through acceleration and optimization techniques.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
