About the Role

The Business Development function at Revolut supports expansion by opening new markets, creating new revenue opportunities, and forming strategic partnerships. In this role, you will join the Global New Bets team and lead business development efforts focused on insurance products, working closely with key counterparties around the world.

You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, improving the profitability of existing products, and taking full ownership of new insurance initiatives from idea to execution.

What You’ll Do

Drive strategic negotiations that strengthen global and regional insurance partnerships.
Assess and confirm new market opportunities by examining customer demand, competitor activity, regulatory obligations, and commercial viability.
Present, negotiate, and close insurance partnership agreements, including embedded insurance and other new insurance initiatives, while delivering strong value for customers.
Own market-entry work end to end, from sizing the opportunity to launch, and support fast expansion into priority countries.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with local partners and ecosystem stakeholders that are essential for entering and scaling new markets.
Work with partners to shape localised products and features that meet market needs, satisfy regulatory expectations, and gain early traction.
Lead commercial discussions specific to each market, including partnership design, financial terms, and operating models.
Collaborate with Product, Legal, Operations, Risk, and Compliance teams to align on expansion needs and clear entry obstacles.

What You’ll Need

Background in a fast-moving startup, consultancy, or investment bank, or experience in private equity or corporate development with exposure to the insurance sector.
Ability to build, analyse, and launch new business lines and products.
Experience managing projects with multiple layers of complexity across different functions.
Strong command of English, along with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Solid business judgement and strong people skills.
Curiosity and a strong motivation to create meaningful impact.
