About Revolut
Revolut was founded in 2015 with a clear aim: to give people better control, greater visibility, and more freedom over their money. Its product suite spans spending, saving, investing, exchanging, travelling, and additional financial services, supporting more than 75 million customers worldwide.
The company has grown rapidly and now employs over 13,000 people across offices and remote teams. It has also been recognised as a Great Place to Work™, reflecting its focus on employee experience, culture, and building ambitious products in a fast-moving environment.
About the role
The Legal team works across the business to provide practical, high-value guidance that helps the company grow quickly while remaining protected and compliant. The team supports areas such as credit programme structuring, market entry, and regulatory navigation across multiple jurisdictions.
This role is for a Company Secretary who will contribute to high-priority decisions and provide specialist corporate governance support for Revolut’s European growth. The position also carries responsibility for operational governance delivery, along with support for legal drafting and statutory filing activities.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver independent, specialist governance support to supervisory and management bodies and their committees, including the Supervisory Council and Management Board.
- Prepare meeting agendas, attend meetings, draft minutes, and track actions through board governance systems and portals.
- Work closely with senior leaders to promote strong local governance and keep processes consistent and appropriately adapted across the group.
- Coordinate the signing and execution of corporate paperwork, including shareholder resolutions, KYC documents, company extracts, powers of attorney, and various applications, while carrying out quality reviews.
- Support the Legal team in making sure management and supervisory bodies comply with relevant local laws and regulatory obligations.
- Maintain statutory registers and records, and ensure filings are completed with the appropriate company registries, including ad hoc notices and submissions.
- Lead and contribute to governance improvement programmes and cross-functional initiatives, such as board effectiveness assessments and skills reviews.
- Represent Revolut externally with third parties such as legal registries, notaries, and other public authorities.
- Liaise with shareholders, ensure shares are fully paid, and keep core company records current, including director and shareholder lists and annual accounts.
- Provide governance review and approvals for new products and initiatives.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in law or a recognised company secretarial qualification, such as ICSA or CGI.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience, ideally with recent exposure to financial services, technology, or banking.
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance, company law, and conflict-of-interest handling in an EU-regulated matrix setting.
- Excellent precision and a strong eye for detail.
- Proven ability to organise board and committee processes and produce accurate minutes.
- Experience managing legal entity compliance work with limited supervision.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build trusted relationships at senior level, including support for onboarding and induction of new council and board members.
- A customer-focused, resilient mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment.
- Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to provide concise governance advice to stakeholders.
- Comfort using modern tools such as Confluence, Jira, and digital board portals, with a focus on maintaining accurate system data.
- Fluent English.
