About the Role
City University Qatar (CUQ), affiliated with Ulster University, is looking for a dynamic Business Development Executive focused on Student Recruitment to enhance enrolment numbers. The role centers on strategic recruitment efforts, fostering corporate alliances, and developing partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead student enrolment initiatives to meet target numbers and key performance indicators.
- Handle and convert potential student leads using CRM tools, outreach campaigns, networking, and consistent follow-up.
- Establish and nurture relationships with corporations, employers, ministries, and government bodies to secure student admissions.
- Create strategic collaborations to support admissions, sponsorship programmes, internships, and career growth prospects.
- Deliver presentations and organize recruitment drives and promotional meetings to represent CUQ courses effectively.
- Assist prospective students by addressing inquiries and guiding them through the admissions journey from first contact to registration.
- Work closely with Admissions and Marketing teams to optimize lead generation and ensure smooth progression of applicants.
- Participate in planning and conducting marketing campaigns, open days, school visits, and other promotional activities.
- Compile weekly reports detailing business development progress, recruitment success, and pipeline status.
- Expand recruitment opportunities by networking extensively across Qatar to increase CUQ's market share.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain meaningful stakeholder engagement at multiple levels.
Requirements
- Possess a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a comparable discipline.
- At least five years of relevant work experience in education, business development, or sales environments.
- Proven capabilities in B2B and B2C sales, including lead acquisition and conversion strategies.
- Fluent communication skills in both Arabic and English languages.
- Exceptional relationship management, negotiation proficiency, and customer interaction skills.
