Role overview
Twinkl is seeking an energetic and target-focused Business Development Executive to support its B2B sales growth across Australia. In this remote, full-time role, you will help expand Twinkl's presence in the education sector by promoting memberships and products to schools, education groups, and other influential stakeholders.
You will work as part of a growing commercial team, helping turn interest into revenue while building trusted relationships with educators and school leadership teams. This position suits someone who enjoys consultative selling, is passionate about education, and wants to contribute to a mission-led organisation.

Pay: $48,470.76 to $60,000 per year, depending on experience, plus commission
What you'll do
- Create new sales opportunities through outbound calls, email outreach, networking, and lead-generation activity.
- Handle incoming enquiries and convert them into paying customers.
- Present Twinkl's products in a way that clearly shows their value to education professionals.
- Develop and sustain relationships with Principals, school leadership teams, curriculum leaders, department heads, and other key contacts.
- Work toward, and aim to surpass, monthly sales goals and performance measures.
- Keep CRM records accurate and up to date in HubSpot.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations to support growth and improve the customer journey.
- Build knowledge of the Australian education market and identify areas where Twinkl can grow further.
What we're looking for
- Experience in sales, ideally in Education, EdTech, SaaS, or a consultative selling environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Comfort working with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
- A self-driven approach with a strong focus on results and target achievement.
- Good planning, organisation, and time-management skills.
- Interest in education and a genuine desire to improve teaching and learning outcomes.
- Experience with CRM tools is an advantage.

Additional information
This is a permanent full-time position working 37.5 hours per week. The compensation includes commission in addition to the base salary. The role is fully remote and focused on the Australian market.
